Dear Diary… Just Kidding.
Why “The Journal Curious” Was Written for People Who Don’t Journal (Yet)
Raise your hand if you’ve ever bought a beautiful notebook, cracked it open… and promptly froze. 🙋♂️
Same.
I’ve always loved the idea of journaling — the pens, the pages, the moment of stillness — but I wasn’t always sure how to actually do it. What do you write? How long should it be? Is it supposed to sound profound?
If you’ve ever asked those same questions, welcome. You’re officially Journal Curious — and you’re exactly who I wrote this book for.

The Journal Curious isn’t your typical journaling guide.
It’s not going to tell you to “start every entry with gratitude” or “journal for exactly 20 minutes a day.”
No rules. No rigid routines. Just a compassionate, creative invitation to explore the page in your own way — with real stories, honest tips, and zero judgment.
This book was born out of years of staring down blank pages and wondering if journaling was for other people. (Spoiler alert: it’s not.)
You don’t need to be a writer.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need to be curious — and open to the idea that journaling could become something surprisingly meaningful.
What’s Inside?
- The most common blocks that keep people from journaling — and how to move past them
- Simple, no-pressure prompts to help you actually want to write
- A little neuroscience, a little humor, and a lot of honesty
- Real talk from someone who knows what it’s like to grieve, to grow, and to try again
Why I Wrote It
Because I know what it’s like to feel stuck, and I’ve experienced the calm and hope journaling has helped me attain.
To feel like journaling might help… but also feel unsure where to begin.
I’ve been there. And journaling helped me find my way forward — not with perfect words, but with consistent ones.
That’s what The Journal Curious is all about: helping you write your way into clarity, comfort, or even just a better day.
